Tool-free furniture assembly Flick&Click™ – technology on a click
The Flick&Click™ system is based on the patented tool-free assembly technology Threespine®, which is owned by Välinge Innovation AB. It is a patented way of assembling furniture without the use of tools such as Allen or screwdrivers and without the use of dowels, screws or plugs. It makes it possible to speed up the assembly process considerably, as well as the perfect appearance of the finished modules and entire pieces of furniture, as no joints or holes are visible.

What are the characteristics of this joining method? V-shaped notches are milled in three corners, while a 45° symmetrical profile appears in the fourth corner. The body is assembled without screws, dowels or plugs. Simply apply mounting glue in three corners, then assemble the body and close it in the fourth corner using the “click” method.
Furniture with the M45 Flick&Click™ connection is assembled in two ways:
- they have a 5G mechanical connection in four corners (designed for delivery to the final customer in a “flat pack” system);
- the 5G mechanical connection is located in one corner and the others are connected using folding treatment with glue (designed for assembly at the manufacturer’s premises and delivery to the customer in the “ready-to-use” system).
There is another innovation in this variant – CORNER 90 has gained the option of installing a latch on the back walls to reinforce the structure of the furniture. This solution is perfect for drawer bottoms to prevent them from annoyingly falling out.
What does CORNER 90 joinery consist of?
The complete assembly of the furniture body is based on the principle of pressing one element against the other. The resulting joint automatically locks into place using a specially designed locking element. And how do you disassemble them? It’s very simple – insert the special stick included in each set into the slot that is located in the joint of the cabinet element. This will self-lock the elements so that they can be disassembled quickly and easily.
