Reliability and durability as brand determinants

The fronts were commissioned by a German manufacturer and our new partner, MAJA Möbel. The company is one of the largest furniture manufacturers behind our western border, operating on the market since 1964 and enjoying an excellent reputation. Interestingly, the founder of the company, Manfred Jarosch, in the face of the growing popularity of televisions, saw in 1960 the need to create furniture adapted to the shapes of these devices. This is how a company specializing in the production of room and office furniture was established and has been successfully operating until today.

We started working on the collection for MAJA Möbel in November 2020, preparing for the planned premiere during the furniture fair in Cologne. Due to the pandemic, the event did not take place, which meant that the release date was postponed to an unspecified date.

Our partner decided to expand its collection with another colour without waiting for another opportunity to present the product. On the day of the premiere, office furniture under the Nobis brand was already available in four colour variants, and the official premiere of this collection finally took place in August this year during the GIGA fair in Austria. Visitors could get to know products in PEARL GRAY colour.

Minimalism that impresses

The Nobis office furniture collection is an offer for minimalist interiors, but enriched with decorative elements, simple but interesting profiling of the fronts and matching colour combinations. It consists of wardrobes, chests of drawers, desks and shelves, which are essential elements of every office. What distinguishes them and at the same time determines their uniqueness is the matte finish for which we used PREMIER MAT foil.

It is characterized by high durability and a deep matte effect, which the foil achieves thanks to the innovative PST (Physical Surface Treatment) technology. Low light reflectance (2-3), exceptional surface smoothness and ease of cleaning make it a favourite choice of consumers. The advantages of the PREMIER MAT finish include the following:

• anti-fingerprint effect – no fingerprints remain on the foil surface,
• stain resistance (1B) confirmed by tests,
• scratch resistance (1.1-5N),
• the ability to regenerate under the influence of heat (so-called thermal healing).

All this makes the Nobis collection pleasing to the eye and guarantees comfort of use and high durability for years.

A collection ready to conquer the world

Nobis office furniture visits subsequent furniture fairs, gradually conquering new markets. What future awaits these unique products? They will certainly be developed, not only in terms of colours but also in terms of dimensions – new shapes will appear, tailored to the needs of customers and selected on the basis of feedback from the market. We are waiting for these challenges with great satisfaction and energy for further action. We are sure that the Nobis collection will find many enthusiasts.
