Furniture Fair Poland (Meble Polska)
The Meble Polska Fair is the largest international furniture contracting event in Central and Eastern Europe, organized since 2010 in Poznań under a new business formula. The event serves to showcase the latest furniture collections, meet manufacturers with wholesale buyers and conclude export contracts. The 2025 edition was held on February 25-28, gathering more than 300 exhibitors from 17 countries in an area of 60,000 m². Exhibitors from 70 countries participated, including strategic markets such as the USA, UAE and India, confirming the fair’s position as an important tool for promoting Polish furniture exports. In addition to exhibiting furniture from all price segments, the fair program included training and market analysis for the industry.
This year’s event definitely stood apart from previous editions in terms of the number of exhibitors and visitors. During our visit to Poznan, we didn’t even have a chance to have coffee with our Partners, so great was the siege at their stands. But we took it as a good thing, laughs Beata Prałat, Sales Specialist at Melaco.
We are all the more pleased that the collections presented by our Partners had the chance to reach such wide markets, especially since they were enriched with products manufactured using Melaco’s innovative technologies. What are these technologies? Let’s take a closer look at them.

Melaco rolling elements in furniture collections
Rolled, rounded elements are a novelty in our offer. Thanks to their structure, they make it possible to create furniture with rounded shapes, meeting the needs of end customers who are looking for unusual solutions and alternatives to sharp, angular forms.
The manufacturing process of the rounded components is created using HOT MELT LAMINATION technology, where the MDF board or black dyed MDF board or particle board is covered with a thermoplastic film (PVC, PET or PP). This technology was used by Meblosiek, which created a minimalist dressing table with a classic design, thus combining modernity with a traditional shape.

Rolled elements were used to create rounded sides, which added elegance to the console and made this piece of furniture fit perfectly into modern interiors, both at home and elsewhere, such as hotels and hair salons.

In turn, our partner, the Meblosiek brand, was able to present a product that received widespread interest:
In the design of the dressing table, we used a novelty from Melaco – rolling elements. And what is important, this is an absolute novelty on the market – no one has something like this. At the entire fair, we are the only company that presents a piece of furniture using such technology, says Jakub Ignasiak, R&D Director from Meblosiek.

This is the result of fruitful cooperation that has been going on for years and makes our technologies and innovations applicable and responsive to the needs of the market, which always makes us extremely happy.
Modern design – MicroMilling™ fronts
MicroMilling™ technology is very popular with our partners. It makes it possible to create subtle or intricate patterns on the surface of the front, geometric or irregular. The Idźczak Meble brand decided to take advantage of this potential and offer the end customer a collection with a simple body, but with a distinctive pattern that gave the furniture a modern design.
The Miraz pattern was created in our factory and we were pleased to see how popular it was at the fair. For us, such events are an opportunity to see how end customers react to the result of our joint work. We ourselves regularly try to create our own collections, which can become an inspiration for our partners, and when they decide to implement them in their own design, it brings us a lot of satisfaction, concludes Agata Sroczyńska, Sales Coordinator at Melaco.

What is the uniqueness of this technology? The MicroMilling™ process is based on precision machining of particleboard or MDF covered with 200-300 μm thick polymer film, using HOT MELT polyurethane adhesive, providing the surface with additional resistance to moisture and elevated temperatures. The key stage is the milling of the outer layer with an accuracy of 50-75 μm, carried out using copy units with electronic depth measurement and diamond cutters. Thanks to the integration of specialized Alphacam software, even the most complex graphic patterns can be mapped. And the result? Perfect:

Lamellar fronts constantly on top of the game
There has been a complete turnaround in furniture design in recent years. Consumers have moved away from the smooth fronts that were popular not long ago, preferably in gloss, to two- and three-dimensional patterns, often in supertone. An example is the above-mentioned Miraz pattern, but also the ever-popular fronts with a lamella structure.
Such a proposal was made by our long-time partner, the Jurek Meble brand, which in its collection of room furniture has focused on the contrast of natural wood with black, enriched by the three-dimensional structure of the WAVE profile front from our MELAFOL production line.

We follow the trends and try to make sure that all the expectations and needs of our customers are met. We cooperate with Melaco in various capacities and mainly in room collections. What Melaco offers us and what we can always be sure of is the guarantee of quality. We know that we can simply count on high quality, says Marcin Zurecki, Owner of Jurek Meble.

Zdobią ją fronty MELAFOL w kolorze czarnym z profilowaniem QUAD i w wykończeniu Premier Matt. Oto efekt:

Trends 2025 at the Furniture Poland trade fair
Lamellar fronts and elements, as well as rounded shapes, also enriched the collections of other exhibitors at this year’s fair in Poznan, which means we can talk about a continuing trend. What else did our team, visiting the fair, catch?
We can certainly see a turn to more classic furniture pieces. Among the proposals appeared collections inspired by the old-fashioned style, but enriched with modern elements – rounded edges, patterns and laths, Beata Prałat summarizes.
And what colors prevailed in the presented collections?
Natural wood, in various shades, is still popular – these proposals were most numerous at the fair. As well as classic black. However, pastels are also coming back into favor, especially warm, cozy ones, and a definite hit this year was the cashmere color, adds Agata Sroczynska.
