MOW trade fair – an important event for the furniture industry

The annual M.O.W. trade fair in Bad Salzuflen is one of the most important events in the European furniture industry. Since 1984, it has been the central meeting place for manufacturers, traders and designers worldwide. This trade fair is a platform for exchanging ideas and presenting the latest trends that shape the furniture market. More than 500 exhibitors from 40 countries present their products on an area of 85,000 m², making M.O.W. not only the place to discover innovations, but also to make key business contacts.

At M.O.W., our customers presented kitchen and bathroom furniture with fronts made using MicroMilling™ technology. These innovative fronts, created on COMPLETE SKIN boards, are coated with a high-quality polymer film, giving them exceptional resistance to moisture and heat. These fronts are characterised by an elegant lamella structure that provides the interior with a modern and warm look thanks to precise milling with diamond cutting tools.

What’s more, fronts made using this technology are easy to clean and resistant to mechanical damage. How do we create lamella fronts?

Our slatted fronts are created using innovative Micro Milling™ technology, which provides you with a product of exceptional quality and durability. The process starts with the precise wrapping of the chipboard with a polymer film, using HOT MELT polyurethane adhesive, which guarantees reliable resistance to moisture and heat.

A key stage is surface milling using advanced copying units and diamond cutters. This high-precision machining, carried out between 100-400 μm, allows us to create extremely accurate and visually appealing designs. Thanks to the specialised Alphacam software, we can process even the most complex graphic designs, which opens up unlimited design possibilities.
