Development despite obstacles

The surplus in warehouses was not conducive to the development of production in our plant which is supposed to create products for our clients. However, we did not give up, taking it as the opportunity to develop products that we already have in our offer.

Thanks to this, the year 2021 in terms of production turned out to be extremely productive and hard-working for us. In the past 12 months:

• we have expanded our product offer in the field of fronts and furniture elements produced in vacuum technology by implementing new PREMIER MATT films and new deeply profiled surfaces;
• as a result of the investments made, we have introduced a new profiling CORNER90 as a part of tool-free Flick&Click™ technology;
• we have expanded the offer of manufactured decorative panels towards a wide range of interior design, creating the DESIGN SOLUTIONS™ 4_Interior product line;
• we have implemented 3 mm thick HDF boards, covered with PP foil and CPL laminate in the Hot Melt Lamination technology, intended for the production of interior doors.

However, we did not stop at developing the products themselves. In the current situation, we have also decided to try to reach clients in other sales segments. Thanks to our efforts, we have obtained new contracts with clients from the domestic and foreign markets. In addition, we have implemented new products for production and sale, intended for retail, construction and e-commerce.

Successes proved by prizes

Our efforts did not go unnoticed. This year three of our products have qualified for the Furniture Diamond 2022 award: the DESIGN SOLUTIONS™ 4_Interior decorative panels, the new version of the Flick&Click™ technology – CORNER90 and the three-dimensional furniture fronts from the MELAFOL line. The winning title was given to the last one of these products – 3D fronts with interesting finishing options and high quality thanks to the use of thermoplastic films with excellent parameters and vacuum technology.

The Furniture Diamond is not the only award we have received. The last quarter of the year also brought us another, prestigious and international award granted in the FSC® Furniture Awards competition. In the Interior Furniture category, our HOME OFFICE Select modular furniture line, based on the patented technology of tool-free assembly, won.

This award is particularly important to us because we received it as the only Polish company. We are glad that we can represent Polish products in the international arena and draw attention to the excellent quality of our domestic products.

Calendar filled with events

We also tried to keep in touch with our contractors and clients. Trade fairs and industry events were a great opportunity for this. We took part in:

• DREMA International Trade Fair of Machines, Tools and Components for the Wood and Furniture Industries in Poznań;
• BELMEB Trade Fair of Suppliers, during which we presented DESIGN SOLUTIONS™ 4_kitchen decorative panels, COMPLETE SKIN furniture boards, PREMIER MATT furniture fronts, as well as the HOME OFFICE line with Flick&Click™ technology. • M.O.W. organized at Messezentrum Bad Salzuflen in Germany, where we presented COMPLETE SKIN panels in the MICRO MILLING technology, over-washbasin cabinets with MIRROR foil, display cabinets and chests of drawers with SUPER MATT fronts, as well as stylish MARMUR CARRERA coffee tables. • The SICAM 2021 fair, which took place between October 12 and 15 in the Italian town of Pordenone, allowed us to take a closer look at the prevailing and forecast trends for the coming months. During this event, we signed an agreement with our partner, RENOLIT, on the prospects of implementing and delivering foils manufactured with the use of raw material derived from recycling waste produced in the RENOLIT group. Actions taken in this way are part of the strategy for climate neutrality for the European Union, the tasks of which are described in the Green Deal. Plans for 2022

Although we do not know what surprises the New Year has in store for us, our plans are ambitious. In January, our winner in the Diamond of Furniture 2022 competition – a collection of 3D fronts from the MELAFOL product line, finished with PREMIER MATT foil – will make its debut at our client’s stand, a renowned German manufacturer of furniture for offices and apartments. We also intend to obtain a fire classification for the COMPETTE SKIN boards we manufacture, which will enable us to further develop our product on the market of suppliers of materials for furnishing public facilities.

After weeks of arrangements, in 2022, we plan to start cooperation with a US customer operating on the market of suppliers to the DIY segment in the supply of furniture and drawer elements made on the basis of the Flick&Click™ toolless technology. We have also started work to implement for sale elements for furniture and accessories packaged at the request of our clients in cardboard packaging intended for the final recipient.

The changes will also apply to our production and in this respect 2022 will be a very busy year for us. First of all, we strive to implement activities in the field of developing the concept of optimization and digitization of production processes in order to implement production 4.0. We also intend to start preparatory and conceptual works for a new investment in the field of production development and energy.
