How are our MELAFOL fronts made?
The first step is the careful preparation of materials, including one-sided laminated MDF boards with appropriate parameters. These boards provide a solid base on which further operations, such as milling and polymer film application, are performed. We then proceed to the milling stage, which is crucial for giving furniture fronts their characteristic shapes and designs. We use advanced CNC technology, which ensures extreme precision. It is at this stage that we create lamella structures and other decorations that give the fronts their unique look.
After milling, the MDF boards undergo a polymer film application process through vacuum pressing. This high-quality film is not only crucial for aesthetics, but also for the durability of our fronts. Thanks to vacuum pressing technology, the film adheres perfectly to the surface of the boards, ensuring a perfect finish in three planes.
Importantly, all the materials we use have the necessary approvals and certificates, which guarantees their safe use regardless of the country of destination of the final product. Fronts from Melaco meet strict standards for formaldehyde emissions and are FSC®-certified, confirming that they come from sustainable sources.
