Innovation at your fingertips

At Melaco, we don’t just follow trends – we are also responsible for creating them. Our most current innovation is rounded MDF roll elements, which are revolutionizing the approach to furniture design.

We have come up with an innovative, cost-effective method for producing rounded furniture components. We use MDF, which is coated with thermoplastic film using our HOT MELT LAMINATION technology, and then formatted and incised accordingly, so we can set it at any angle, depending on the customer’s need, says Melaco Sales Coordinator Agata Sroczyńska. She adds that such a solution allows us to create unique, elegant furniture while remaining competitive.

One of the results of such cooperation was a console designed by Meblosiek, our long-term partner. The Meblosiek-produced console has curved sides on two sides, which introduces an interesting accent in bedroom or bathroom interiors. This project was made possible by the use of innovative rolling elements from Melaco.

Jakub Ignasiak, Director of Research and Development at Meblosiek, tells us this about the cooperation with us:

In keeping up with trends, we are helped a lot by our partners. We praise the cooperation with Melaco because it always makes presentations of the latest trends and decors, so we are up to date with the novelties. We don’t even have to ask – Melaco specialists come with samples, explain everything and present new components. We also get regular newsletters, so we can keep our finger on the pulse.

This is where our dressing table came from – it was inspired by the novelties presented by Melaco. We presented it at the Furniture Poland 2025 trade fair in Poznan and I must admit that it is currently the only such model on the market. Thanks to our cooperation with Melaco, we have access to components that no one has yet, he says about the design of the dressing table.

Execution of major projects

The production of furniture collections requires not only creativity, but, above all, reliability and precision – that’s why we offer solutions that allow us to maintain the highest quality and repeatability of production even with large quantities and complex designs.

A perfect example of cooperation on such a project was the delivery of fronts made with MicroMilling™ technology for our partner, the company Idzczak Meble. The brand presented an original chest of drawers covered with geometric patterns during the Meble Polska 2025 trade fair. Our technological capabilities allow us to produce similar designs even in large quantities, if the client plans to distribute their designs on a large scale.

That’s why one of the pillars of our business is comprehensive material and technology consulting, which helps furniture manufacturers achieve the best results.

Our experience allows us to support both large manufacturers and smaller companies that are just developing their business. As Agata Sroczyńska emphasizes: not all of our clients have their own technologists, so they cannot rely on their own drawings. Very often they simply send us inspiration, and our technologists develop the appropriate programs, calculations and prototypes. As a result, even companies without an advanced technical background can count on full support in the implementation of their projects.

As noted by Piotr Blaszkow, Production Manager from Prospero Furniture, our long-time customer: Melaco always meets our expectations. Their products are a perfect fit for our projects, from tables to modern wall units.

Prospero specializes in the production of tables and benches – this is the mainstream of their sales. Soon, however, Prospero’s premiere collection of wall units will be released, using MELAFOL fronts of our production.

Cooperation with us is not only the realization of orders according to the customer’s specifications, but also the possibility of consultation in the optimization of material cutting or the selection of appropriate technologies. It often happens that the customer has an idea, but does not know how to implement it. In such cases, we offer our own solutions that are tailored to his needs and production capabilities, adds Agata Sroczynska.

Working in research and development, I have to deal with novelties, prototypes, patterns. I depend on efficient assistance that will allow me to receive the completed design as soon as possible. I really appreciate direct contact with someone who will also tell me what the technological possibilities are. Just because we draw a piece of furniture, say we like it and want to produce it, that doesn’t mean that the technological possibilities allow it. This is when Melaco helps us. After brainstorming together, we can work out something that is good for both us and our partner.

Daily production support

In addition to the implementation of joint projects, we also take care of the production facilities of our partners, which allows us to maintain production flow. We offer COMPLETE SKIN finished furniture formats prepared in accordance with customer documentation and specifications. Thanks to the use of PUR adhesives and precise CNC processing, we provide furniture elements with perfectly finished edges, which will also be resistant to moisture and high temperatures.

We offer a wide range of colors, patterns and textures that can be customized to the specifics of the collection. The edges are edged with a thickness of 0,3 to 2 mm, which provides an elegant finish to each piece. Thanks to postforming technology, it is also possible to obtain rounded edges, which will fit perfectly into the design of desks, tables or dressers.
