Color trends from RENOLIT
This is the next installment of the guide prepared by experts from RENOLIT, which aims to identify the latest color trends for 2025 for the interior design industry. It takes into account global trends and developments. It is created in cooperation with renowned research institutes and experts in the field.
RENOLIT is a long-time partner of MELACO – polymer films of their production ensure the durability of the finishes of our furniture components. New trends set by RENOLIT allow us to implement further color palettes in production, so we are able to meet the diverse needs of furniture manufacturers.
The latest Colour Road guide is not only about trends, but also about an authentic journey through the richness of our planet. The motto of this year’s edition is “Treasures of our planet – treat them as a gift.”
In the words of company representatives: Under the theme “Treasures of our planet – treat them as a gift,” we celebrate the priceless resources that shape our world. From hidden gems underground to breathtaking vistas on the earth’s surface and beyond, every element is a precious treasure.
This year, the specialists preparing the guide decided to divide the inspiration into 3 thematic areas: Precious Minerals, Unique Landscapes and Limitless Atmosphere. Each is inspired by a different aspect of nature.
Let’s see how our planet’s inspiration has influenced the latest color trends.
Precious minerals
Our journey into the world of color trends begins with the fascinating world of “Precious Minerals.” These important minerals, rare earth metals and special elements are hidden deep in the deepest layers of the Earth. Their existence, although sometimes invisible, plays a key role in our daily lives. Directly from within the earth, materials are mined that form the basis for our industrial and technological development. Without them, it would not be possible for smartphones, screens or cars to function.
Discovering these treasures from the depths of the earth is not only a journey through the history of discovery and innovation, but also a reminder of the limited nature of these precious resources. That is why it is worth appreciating them as extraordinary treasures of our planet. The new “Precious minerals” collection features inspiring shades such as “Ceramic Red,” a rich, mineral red that symbolizes stability and warmth, and “Rare Earth,” a soft, warm brown that references rare minerals hidden deep in the earth.
Among these colorful discoveries are also intense red shades such as “Heat,” referring to the energy of lava, and subtle beiges such as “Calcite Beige,” inspired by the delicate nuances of calcite. Each color in the “Precious minerals” collection tells its own unique story, combining the beauty of nature with the extraordinary power of minerals.
Colors of unique landscapes
The landscapes of our world are not only a source of inspiration, but also a precious heritage that should be protected at all costs. “Unique Landscapes” invites us to discover and appreciate these wonders – not only as breathtaking landscapes, but also as home to diverse life forms. By immersing ourselves in their beauty and history, we not only deepen our connection to nature, but also realize how quickly natural processes can be tampered with and nature threatened.
We begin our color journey with “Smoke Green.” This green, found on vast, mysterious heathlands, has a naturally “murky” appearance. Only recently, as a society, have we begun to truly understand the value of these lush green areas for ecosystems.
The “Wave Blue” color, on the other hand, reflects the power of the oceans. A color as elastic as the water itself, and unusually warm for a blue (thanks to its high red content). It is contrasted by the soft “Desert,” which represents the hot, dry sands of the deserts. It reminds us how flexible vegetation and wildlife are – and that life can thrive even in harsh conditions.
“Indian Summer” transports us to the rugged mountain ranges of the North American prairies, which are the setting of countless myths. The perfect balance between orange and brown gives us a color that exudes warmth and comfort, despite its harsh source of inspiration.
Limitless Atmosphere
As RENOLIT specialists say: “Wherever we go, there is something that accompanies us: the phenomenon of the sky. We’ve always been deeply fascinated by observing clouds and studying winds. “Limitless Atmosphere is a tribute to our relationship with the elements of air and water. After all, what we see in the sky is not just a scientifically explainable play of the elements – it is an individual reflection of our desires, dreams and fears. It reminds us that we live in a universe characterized by nothing less than constant change and its associated beauty and unpredictability.”
In “Light Cashmere,” we gaze into the hazy morning light. The warm, timeless beige symbolizes the quiet beauty of dawn, gently inviting us to stop and find inner balance. Sometimes it is enough to take a deep breath – this element is reflected in the “Airy Blue” color. The light blue color represents the oxygen that makes life on our planet possible, and its bright red hue makes it both cozy and comfortable. The cool “Cloud,” on the other hand, symbolizes what makes the sky interesting: the cloud formations that have stimulated our imagination since childhood. Thanks to its black content, the silver color has an unusual, striking depth. “Misty Forest” is a color that captures the mysterious atmosphere of a misty forest. With its delicate combination of cool shades of gray and green, “Misty Forest” resembles delicate fog vapors floating between tree trunks. “Phenomena,” with its fascinating mix of vivid but subtle hues, creates an aura of mystery.
