Innovative MicroMilling™ technology — unlimited possibilities
MicroMilling™ from Melaco is an advanced surface milling technology for furniture boards that introduces new possibilities in furniture design and manufacturing. Thanks to the precise milling of the top layer of the polymer film, it is possible to obtain unique patterns and structures that give furniture an interesting character. This solution allows the creation of fronts with a unique design, while meeting the highest standards of functionality and aesthetics.

What’s more, MicroMilling™ makes it possible to realize both minimalist, geometric designs and more complex ornaments. The uniqueness of this technology lies in the precision machining of the surface of MDF or particleboard, covered with a polymer film. Thanks to the use of diamond cutters and advanced Alphacam software, it is possible to obtain patterns with an accuracy of 50-75 μm. In addition, the use of HOT MELT polyurethane adhesive provides the surface with resistance to moisture and elevated temperatures, making these fronts an ideal choice for kitchens, bathrooms or other demanding spaces.
Thanks to MicroMilling™ technology, we can offer furniture manufacturers solutions that allow them to stand out in the market and meet the expectations of the most demanding customers. It’s an innovation that opens the door to the most ambitious projects.

Spring trends 2025. Minimalism, but with character
Minimalism in furniture design remains one of the most important trends in 2025, but this season it takes on a new dimension – simplicity is combined with expressive details that give interiors a unique character. Furniture designers and manufacturers are increasingly turning to solutions that not only emphasize functionality, but also bring subtle aesthetic touches to a space.
Geometric patterns
Geometric patterns are one of the most prominent trends in spring furniture design for 2025. A variety of lines, shapes and new structures give furniture an intriguing character, while ensuring its versatility and timelessness. MicroMilling™ technology allows for precise reproduction of even the most complex patterns, which opens up enormous creative possibilities for furniture designers and manufacturers.
During this year’s MEBLE POLSKA 2025 (Furniture Poland) trade fair in Poznan, MicroMilling™ technology was one of the most talked about solutions. At that time, the Idźczak Meble brand presented a chest of drawers with decorated fronts of our production. The simple pieces of furniture were enriched with expressive milling, which gave them a modern design and made the chest of drawers stand out from the competition.
Geometric designs are the perfect way to combine minimalist style with unique character. Thanks to MicroMilling™ technology, each design can gain a unique look that will attract the attention of end customers and increase the aesthetic value of the furniture.

Delicate textures
Pastel colors are back in favor, and the spring trends of 2025 definitely put a premium on warm and cozy shades. Among them, cashmere color reigns supreme, which, combined with subtle patterns, creates furniture of exceptional lightness and elegance. MicroMilling™ technology fits perfectly into this trend, allowing the creation of delicate milling that emphasizes the unique character of pastel fronts.

Inspired by natural wood
Natural wood continues to be one of the most important trends in furniture design, and its modern renditions are gaining popularity. Spring 2025 brings more subtle and minimalist wood structures that perfectly fit the needs of contemporary interiors. With MicroMilling™ technology, you can accentuate the natural wood grain with precise milling that adds depth to any design.
