A stylish seaside atmosphere

Ideas for new furniture collections arise in different circumstances, however, the usability for end users is always a priority for our German partner. Having the plant located in an area rich in summer houses, the idea of creating a dedicated collection for such buildings seemed natural. As it turned out, the demand for equipment for holiday homes is enormous, as is the number of those who love the seaside climate and want to bring it into their homes.

This is how the Del Mare collection was created, which includes furniture for the kitchen, room, bedroom, hall, and even wardrobe. It is distinguished by a design referring to the popular Coastal interior style, combining marine elements with modern and universal colours. For this purpose, our client used fronts with a louvred structure, available in our offer, enriching them with universal colours – a combination of SMOOTH WHITE white, DAKAR PERFECT TOUCH white sand and light wood in the shade of classic oak WINCHESTER OAK.

The collection premiered on September 1, 2022, during an internal fair organized by our client, and it immediately found its enthusiasts.

MELAFOL louvred fronts

To carry out this order, we used our proven technologies and a reliable MELAFOL production line, which allows for milling on the surface of fronts and furniture elements. Precise milling cutters are made with the use of computer CNC technology, giving the products high repeatability and a perfect finish. It also allows us to apply patterns in many interesting versions.

MELAFOL furniture fronts are made of MDF boards with reduced formaldehyde emission and are FSC® certified. Each form is covered with high-quality polymer foils in the process of vacuum pressing, which ensures a perfect finish of the product in three dimensions.

The materials and technologies ensure the fulfilment of critical requirements, including thermal resistance, min. 70⁰ C. Boards, adhesives and foils are covered by attestations and certificates recognized in Poland and abroad. In addition, the production process is constantly controlled in terms of quality and verified at every stage to ensure even higher standards for premium products.

Production challenges – when time is money

As a manufacturer of furniture elements, we realize that the time that passes from the idea to the implementation is extremely crucial for obtaining satisfactory returns on investment. That is why we make every effort to shorten the production time as much as possible. It was similar with the Del Mare collection.

For the author of this collection, we have prepared a dedicated production line that carries out the ordered shutter structure fronts, but we did not waste time waiting for it to be ready. We asked for support from our partner, who started production while our line in Melaco was still in preparation. When it was ready to carry out full production runs, we moved the processes directly to our plant and now we are able to fulfil large volumes of orders.

Such action allowed us, and our client, to save a lot of time and to include the collection for sale within three months. We were able to quickly develop a new branch of products for a long-term customer, at the same time expanding our scope of cooperation and introducing new production possibilities to our plant.
