In the beginning I dreamt of production facilities, I was so stressed. Today, I arrive before dawn, work out tasks over coffee and wait for the team with a peaceful feeling. – recalls Mr. Andrzej.

During his 30-year career at Melaco, he worked his way up from machine operator to production master, which gave him insight into all production processes. It was Mr. Andrzej who introduced a multi-station training system at the company, through which employees gain competence to operate different machines. This work model minimizes the risk of downtime and makes production run smoother and more efficiently.

As he points out, Melaco’s job rotation system is a school of versatility. Learn not for the company, but for yourself. Even if you change jobs someday, this knowledge will stay with you – he adds.

Mr. Andrzej underlines that the key to a smoothly running production is a close-knit team. In his opinion, mutual support, open communication and a common goal-setting make daily work run smoothly and challenges easier to overcome. This approach builds an atmosphere of trust, which is fundamental at Melaco.

At work, the most important thing is cooperation. At Melaco we have technologists who act as advisors, and I work closely with the management on a daily basis. In the company it’s like a family – even if sometimes there is stress or a raised voice, after an hour we act together again, shoulder to shoulder – he says.

In his 30 years of work, Mr. Andrzej has faced difficulties more than once. However, regardless of the circumstances, he has been able to get back into action every time. For him, working at Melaco is more than a duty – it’s a place where he feels needed and involved in the company’s development.

I thought a meniscus injury would end my professional path. However, when the company needed me – I came back. Today, when a colleague with whom we work in a parallel position is missing due to illness, I am running between machines again like a 30-year-old! – he says with a smile.

30 years of experience

Summing up three decades of work, Mr. Andrzej proudly points out the importance of loyalty and perseverance – both on the part of the employee and the employer. In a world where many companies fail after a few years of operation, maintaining a stable position in the market is no small achievement.

30 years in one company is a success for both employee and employer. Today, many companies collapse after 2-3 years. We are pulling this cart through crises – and we are still moving forward, what’s more, even with success! – he says with satisfaction.
